有次逛宝宝店,店员说california baby没有通过加拿大health检查,不能在加拿大卖.所以很纠结.
I was concerned after reading the post from #26， so I did some reaserch, it's not that California baby didn't pass the Health Canada, it's the labelling issue. Actually the ingrediences in those products are approved by Health Canada, but the name of the ingrediences are not listed on the packaging, and this is a requirement in Canada. California Baby doesn't have both English and French on their packaging, and this also a requirement in Canada.
But those are just some comments I read online. On California Baby's website, it explains: "...working diligently to make your favorite California Baby products available in Canadian stores. Unfortunately, a universal harmonized regulatory standard does not exist for natural personal care products; when it comes to natural and aromatherapy products, Health Canada's rules are very different from the U.S. It is important that we are able to communicate on our label what makes California Baby products special while conforming to the very restrictive regulations. We appreciate your passion and hope to have good news for you soon!"
