汽车后备箱的锁打不开了，有什麽好办法解决？

什么牌子型号的车啊？

你看看是不是你的valet parking按钮是打开的？
一般valet parking打开的话是不能开后备箱的。

I once also owned a Corolla (just retired last year, bought in 1992 November). The car was parked outdoor, and hence covered with snow in winter, when I used the key to open the trunk, some snow went inside. Hence after seven years or so, rust built up inside the lock and I can only use remote trunk lever to open it. Six years ago, I went to a garage here in Ottawa, and the guy (M*** Garage) asked me 50 CAD and he fixed it. Changing lock is too expensive (you need extra set of key also). Advise from that mechanic, use WD 40 to spray the lock, and my trunk lock worked well until I retire my car.

If the remote trunk lever fails to work, that could mean the wire of that lever needs replacement. Cost and labour is around 200 CAD.



Anyway, you have a very reliable car.

We spent 50CAD to open the trunk today. They asked 270CAD for replacing the lock. It is too much.... Our remote trunk lever works. So we are going to use it at most of the time. We will try to use WD-40 to spry the lock. Hope it will help.

哈哈，还真露怯了！没想到烤肉拉后座从后备箱放倒！开锁五十刀是打不住的，canadian tire人工起价七十打不住，你可以窃喜了，五十花得很值得哈，元宵节更加快乐啦，哈哈哈哈！

笑话倒不是，我们是后座靠背打下的拉手就在靠背上，打下靠背爬进去拉钢丝开的别住的锁。真碰上你家这车八成也没辙，我也愿意出五十别人来卸装座位
希望有别的窍门，否则50刀解释不通啊

误会了，不好意思。。。我知道Camry就是在后座靠背上松开后座，但这个车不是。。。 是我们觉得抓瞎了就赶快找人修了，不想影响过节的心情。。。大家给出了这麽多注意，我们也学到了不少。谢谢，谢谢！

I am like you, I don't know much about car mechanics. But I am lucky to have honest mechanic servicing my car.
I hope you can an HONEST mechanic here in Ottawa.
I usually go to TWO garages here in Ottawa (and I have one in Toronto).
M***, I will ask Father not his son. Son doesn't have the patience to repair/fix old cars.
There is another, on Gladstone (D*****), the owner (mechanic) is very nice. He won't overcharge you. I think his rate is 50 CAD per hour (tax included, cash).
Places like Dealers, Canadian Tire (or Midas etc), they follow a BOOK which says how many man hours for Task A, etc etc, even though the mechanic has spent 1 hour, but the book says 2 hours, then they will charge you two hours (Rate is 65 to 95?) plus tax.

If a mechanic told you you need to change this and that, you can tell them you them to show the parts they have replaced!
