求助：如果柜子深25，那冰箱的depth应该选多少？

I might not state correctly. I did not mean counter depth fridge will be 25" deep. Monarch's cabinet depth should be 30", which means either 27" or 30" counter depth fridge can fit into.

If you have seen a counterdepth fridge, you will notice that it's not actually just 25" deep. It's more than that. Hinge wise, it not special compared to a non counterdepth one. However, I totally agree that it's smaller and less efficient due to the space constraint.

另外，home depot的一个sales说可以在墙上做文章。有的builder会在冰箱后的墙壁上留空。这样就不用太担心冰箱突出很多。。这个做法可行吗？容易吗？

如果冰箱后面的墙是内墙（没有insulation, 不承重），冰箱后的墙壁上留空是一个选择， DIY也不会太难。

我就是当时看中了那个要命的冰箱，没升级到30。
现在后悔也来不及了。要不然冰箱的选择就多很多。

Are you sure? I recalled that lower cabinet should be 30" depth by default; otherwise, how can it align with stove? We did not ask for upgrade to 30 neither as We were thinking that should be default depth. We only upgraded the upper cabinet....

opening is not what we are discussing here. we are discussing depth.

我没表达清楚，之前我的意思是楼主连他选的冰箱都不喜欢，调整opening以后选择能多一些。
２人世界的家庭可能counter depth的冰箱够用，３人或者以上的就不够用了。
counter depth的冰箱要看具体数据，一般只有加门的厚度以后２７，２８的才能算counter depth。
加拿大的一般是２５，２６，很少有builder会多给你留空间在里头。

不是counter depth的冰箱也不要太介意，主要看你的开口的位置，如果前头没东西的话，多深都无所谓
如果前头正对着island，尽量不要选超过３０，而且建议选择french door的，因为开完门以后，那个路口基本堵全了。

上，下的柜子进深是不一样的。

我们选的那个房型，冰箱旁边是个pantry，我想那个应该是25进深。
但是旁边的冰箱头上的柜子就不是这个深度了。
所以我们家就是把他头上的柜子加到25，然后侧边也加了个面。

而且我觉得下面的柜子也不应该进深30啊。不过你不用担心炉子的事情。炉子都是标准的。而且当时你也提供了电器的信息，应该不会出错的。

不过，现在，我也有点糊涂了。。

我的理解下面柜子都是25寸，上面是12寸半，可以把冰箱上面的柜子加深到25寸，冰箱两侧可以加板子，两侧的柜子没法改，如果把上面的柜子加深成25寸，台面就不好使用了。
