Outataouais ‘castle’-themed home destroyed in fire

Three fire departments worked to put out a fire that destroyed a “castle”-themed under renovation north of Gatineau Wednesday morning. Fire departments from Val-des-monts, Ange-garden and Cantley responded at around midnight at 133 Chemin Lafrenière in Val-des-monts when neighbours spotted smoke and flames rising out of the building, which had a turret and walls with arch-like entrances cut out of them.
