精华 [请求] 有谁最近买了大硬盘

打算买一只 80G或者120G HD.但是不知道那个牌子比较可靠稳定.请大家推荐一下.

7200RPM的 WD? 还是 MAXTOR DIAMONDPLUS 9?

Someone is selling 80G/120G , brand new.
The best deal I saw was 160$ for 120G.

Try to search it.

I think the ones with 8M buffer is good.
But the price is a little higher.

Mine is WD, 100G. It's so quiet and I like it. But before buying it, i did some research on internet. The conclusions are not always good on it, but anyway I bought it and i don't feel regret about it.

WD 80G 7200转，8M缓存，型号结尾是JB那种。这个是3年保修的。其余的是1年的。

金钻9代目前正在国内闹着，因为为数不少的人反映噪音很大，当然也有很多人说没有。估计可能是批号问题，不会像IBM那样的是技术缺陷。

My comment: Don't only look at capacity, also check the cache size, rpm and interfaces... before you pay your hard-earned money.

I bought a WD 80G 8200RPM/8M cache/3 year warranty from Tolga computer on carling. Compared a few shop and that's the shop for best price.

If this is not urgent, watch Futrue Shop. They give out rebates on disks often. Also, Best Buy is going to open at Merivale very soon, and I believe they will have some deals on somethings.
