我的98年Corolla最近有些问题。一是Power Steering Fluid在漏；二是刹车系统需要更换。去Tony Graham Toyota了解，仅为解决Power Steering Fluid漏的问题就需$430加税和环境费。本人确实不想花这么多银子在这辆老车上，又不想放弃这辆车(因为它的其他部分都非常好，虽然14年了，在高速上100公里仅6L油）。抱着试试看的态度给关先生（DKWAN）打了电话，在他那里换了四个轮子的刹车，修好了Power Steering Fluid漏的问题，并把冬季胎换回了四季胎。感到他们干活认真负责，为人实在，为顾客着想，价钱非常好。



例如：关先生说，修理工作约需3小时，若我有事，不必在那里等，他们可以给我一辆车开回家或去办事；又如，为对顾客负责，关先生并不建议顾客全用便宜的产品。对我的刹车系统，他建议Rotor用after Market的产品，但Pad要用Toyota的原件，这样组合性价比最好（因为after market的Pad不经磨，不耐用）。在经过近3个小时把车修完后，他又专门把车test drive了一大圈，确定完全正常才把车交给我。

This is what I keep on saying, find an HONEST mechanic, and pay the guy fairly. There is NO free lunch, and most important of all, we have PEACE of MIND.

And it is good to know one garage in Ottawa that I can go to.


I recommend to LZ always have a spare bottle of Power Steering fluid in your trunk, just in case you need it, and know how to check fluid level and refill. Fluid leakage is quite common in old cars.

If you park your car inside a covered garage, then look for any fluid on the floor, especially in COLD winter (cold contracts and hence the gap is wider). In summer, that may be due to condensate from your car air conditioner.

Any other potential leakage is transmission fluid.

Since your car is old, there is a likelihood that it also burns engine oil.

Hence before drive your car on long distance trip, especially in cold winter, please check all fluid levels.

Again, ask DKWAN for advise next time.


My advise is change engine oil every three months or 5000 km whichever comes first, engine oil is like blood to car. You can have a reliable car for another ten years.... (provided there is no rust).

我們的營業時間是星期一至六早上八時到晚上八時.
星期天休息.

已在RIM的是$15/set.
重新設定原廠TPMS是$7/set.

I just returned from the shop. I read about it from here yesterday.
I went there this morning to have my brakes checked since there was some squeezing sound from the brakes.
I was expected new pads are needed. Turned out just a brake service is required.
