OTTAWA — The provincial government should scrap a section of the Green Energy Act that lets the provincial government approve wind farms without cities’ and townships’ approval, Nepean-Carleton MPP Lisa MacLeod said in a small press conference outside Ottawa City Hall Friday morning. MacLeod brought fellow Tory MPP Vic Fedeli, the opposition party’s energy critic, to reinforce the point.
