OTTAWA — A cyclist was in serious but stable condition in hospital Friday after he was struck by a pickup truck near the intersection of March and Herzberg roads. Paramedics treated a 55-year-old male for serious head injuries. Witnesses say the man was thrown 10 metres from the point of impact and that he was unconscious for several minutes after the collision.
