Under a spitting rain outside St. Isidore’s Church in Kanata Saturday afternoon, grieving friends and family comforted one another as they said goodbye to 26-year-old Erin Vance, who in life touched many by her devotion to her 5-year-old twin boys, equestrian riding and an unfulfilled dream of becoming a police officer.
