"cheap" inflatable boat

We bought an eletrical pump. It has inflate and deflate function. It's quick. Mine is using the car's power.

DO you use handle pump? how long does it take to infalte?

Today I found andrew hyden park is not bad for playing boat.

Fitzroy is a nice park for carp fishing. Every may there are thousands of carp fish. But it is not a good place for boating.
I know there is one place, which is free and is very close to that park. It is very beautiful there, but there are many black flies.
I am going there for kayaking tomorrow if it does not rain.

The river you mentioned should be carp river,actually it is just a stream. Because there are many rocks and sticks, might not be ideal for inflation boat.
Anyway, fishing should be at the intersection of carp river and Ottawa river, there are two small islands, very easy to identify.

The other place I mentioned is a conservation place. If you go 17 west about 30 minutes, you will reach Galetta, turn right and continue 5 minutes, you will see the conservation place sign and turn left. Just follow the sign.
If you donot turn left, after another 5 - 10 minutes you will reach Fitzory park.
The first time is very tricky.

What is the safety equipment I need to use the boat by provincial regulations besides the 救生衣? Do I also need a fire distinguisher? Do I need a license? Thanks!

I think life jachet is enough. It's only a inflatable boat, quite small one.
But it's sold out in Costco. :blink:

How long does it take to pump the boat?

It depends on what kind of pump you use.
For electrial pump, it will take you less than 10 minutes.
If you use the manual pump, don't be surprised if you don't finish inflating in half hour.

Then, what kind is the pump with the boat being sold?

Manual.
You have to buy an electrial pump which can also inflate the air bed. So it's worth.

有些问题关于seahawk sport 400

我才从Canadian Tire买了这充气船. 我发现给船底充完气后,拔出pump后,气一下子漏了很快,我不得不赶快盖上气盖.我不知道这种现象正不正常.
我总觉得,它做不到象轮胎那样让气只进不出的话,也该让气出的很慢.
我还发现二个boston valves,也有点漏气,假如不盖上气盖的话.
并不是完全象它说明书上讲的那样.(valve lets air in, not out)

我是个新手,请大家赐教了.
