Poor ticket sales threaten to close Mayfair Orléans

OTTAWA — The suburban Orléans version of the popular downtown second-run movie theatre the Mayfair is struggling to stay afloat almost six months after it opened. Owner Lee Demarbre said the theatre, which opened Dec. 2 on Centrum Boulevard, will close before the end of the month if they can’t significantly increase their revenue before then.
