They want to charge you $5K for some vague promises, is it right? I talked to the VP(an Indian) 6 months ago. In fact, lots of people in hirethetoptalent group have discussed this, I did not see positive comments to this business.
Usually, I only deal with the kind of agency who is earning his commission from the employer, not the job seeker. So my reply to Bernard Haldane is: Thank you, but your service is not what I am looking for.

当然不能上这个当了。中介应该是从雇主那里收钱的。从你这里收钱只能表明要么没有正经公司搭理他，有么他就是骗你。

I heard that a friend of my friend got CIO's job thru this agency, so if you were director, and wanted to move to VP, $6K is not a bad price. Bernald Haldine looks like 'high-end' service provider, but I think they should find the right customer, not people like me who is taking 6K as big deal.
