Group of cyclists injured in pile-up

A multi-bike pile-up in Ottawa’s south end sent several cyclists to hospital and left others with road rash Sunday afternoon. Paramedics said a group of nine cyclists (six male and three female) were riding together on Frontier Road, one kilometer south of Devine Road when, at about 1:40 p.m., the handlebars of two of the riders collided. As a result, most of the cyclists in the pack went down.
