Five-storey condo planned for vacant lot at Bank and Florance

A gap along Bank Street created by a fire seven years ago might be filled by a five-storey building, with residential units above retail on the ground floor, plans show. The vacant lot at Bank and Florence streets (406-408 Bank St.) once contained apartments on top of a pizza shop, until a blaze tore through the three-storey building in 2005.
