I bought this model last weekend, but cannot pull the rope to the handle position, thus cannot start the engine. Any tips for help? Thanks.

I don't understand what is the issue. Only thing I could say is to read the manual again. To start it you have to push the rubber bubble three time. Grab the dead man handle and pull the rope. Did you forget to grab the handle?
