OTTAWA — Less than two weeks after tendering her resignation — citing “deep political divisions among trustees” and her own failing health — Ottawa public school trustee Pam FitzGerald has had a change of heart and will not be stepping down. “There are games played at the school-board level that you would hope wouldn’t be played,” she told the Citizen on June 14. “I don’t see an easy way to go forward and, given my health problems, I don’t have the strength to do it as this point in time.”
