OTTAWA — The body of a man who was presumed dead after his all-terrain vehicle crashed through the ice during a fishing trip on the Ottawa River in February was found downstream by the shore near Plaisance, Que. Michael Hudon, 50, was headed out to ice fish with friends when the group got caught in snowstorm and their ATV fell through the ice on Feb. 24 near the Clarence Point Ferry. His two friends made it out of the frigid waters and tried to pull Hudon back on to the ice but he slipped away.
