Two charged under city’s new outdoor smoking ban

OTTAWA — Two charges have been issued under new outdoor smoking rules after bylaw officers began laying fines on July 2, the city said Friday. One ticket was handed out on City Hall property (reportedly to a man who was trying to be fined) while the other charge was laid in a park, said city spokesman Barre Campbell.
