Ottawa Nepalese association organizes 10th annual food drive

OTTAWA — The Nepalese Canadian Association of Ottawa (NCAO) is organizing its 10th annual food drive for the Ottawa Food Bank and is inviting performers from more than 13 other ethnic communities to join them for a celebration of multicultural dance and music at Andrew Haydon Park on Aug. 11. The NCAO has been able to collect over $83,000 in food and cash for the food bank so far and is looking to add to that number through this year’s door-to-door collection campaign and multicultural performance event.
