OTTAWA — Ottawa Police arrested 16 men during a community safety project in the Vanier area on Monday and Tuesday, in an ongoing effort to deal with the community impacts of prostitution. 12 of the adult men qualified to attend the Pre-charge Diversion Program, which includes “john” school. John school is a project that applies a restorative justice approach to the effects of prostitution within communities and focuses on education.
