Waiting list for CU

Today I got a letter from CS of CU. I was told that I was placed on waiting lists.
The letter said. " A reevaluation of all students placed on this waiting list will be made in June. We have evaluated your application to be strong enouth, to be placed on our waiting list."
So what should I do to improve my chance to enter CS graduate program of CU? Hopefully I can get many advices from this forum.

maybe it is because there are too many applicants this year.
but i still not understand why they want to reevaluate you since you already
"strong enough". have you contact any professor to be your advisor? If yes,
contact your professor to push them. A lot of things can happen before June.

According to my experience, applicants including you on the waiting list may have opportunities to get the offers unless some accepted people withdraw from the program.

At this stage, I don't think what you can do, and everything has already been determined.

"你说什么" is right, last year I received same one said "your qulification is good enough", but at last they said they did not have space then. So I believe you have about 20% chance to get in the programe in other years, but this year...."XUAN".

It depends on the other applicants. if some of them have more than 1 offers, u will have more chance. but i guess u will get the offer finally for last year even in august sb get offer in CU.

Thanks for your replies. My toefl 253/5.0 and GPA is 83/100.

TOEFL 253 相当原来的多少分? 一般来说, TOEFL 在580以上, 越高越好, 但是GPA低了点,才A-,不过也还可以. 不敢瞎说, 只是感觉上不是非常优秀,主要是凭运气.最好能亲自和SUPERVISOR谈谈.第一批的已经下来了, 你应该在第二批或补缺里,要等到5-6月或8月底.你着急也没用,最好能多申请几个学校或专业,一个不保险.

aperson: how much is ur GPA. i think 83/100 is not so bad. i have the same GPA and even get RA in CU.

My GPA is 88, but RA is not related to GPA but your professor. The GPA is only used for application.
