"life is not 1+1=2" Agreed. However I don't quite agree with your idea of moral. By definition, moral is relating to principles of right and wrong in behavior. Many people confuse the nature with the practice. What Panda said was a very good example: if things do no harm or don't matter, it is then alright to do it.
To counter-argue this, I want to make 2 points:
1. things may not matter on the surface or right now, they may however matter in the future with deeper involvements.
2. And I don't have to tell you what principles are, civilized societies normally have a definite set of moral standards, therefore it does not change the fact that lying is morally wrong.
PS, reminds me of my mini-cucumbers left in the fridge.

OK. Let me try to answer your question accordingly.
For statement purpose:
IF it is WRONG (no what, if, buts) to lie in the real world, THEN it is also WRONG to lie in the virtual world.
To support this statement is that a LIE is a LIE, whether you lie in front of the other party or via internet, telephone, it is still a LIE.
Morally speaking I don’t like the above statement, because life is not always 1+1 = 2. However, I don’t want to go onto this topic; that will just open another can of worm.
So now I answered your question; leave me alone, I will need to eat.
