‘Les Yeux’ mural gets a makeover at University of Ottawa

One of Ottawa’s most visible artworks — a huge pair of eyes overlooking the Rideau Canal and Nicholas Street — can be seen clearly again after restoration. Les Yeux (The Eyes) is a mural of human eyes composed of large black and white dots. It was painted in 1972-1973 on the wall of MacDonald Hall at University of Ottawa by well-known Ottawa artist James Boyd.
