Two charged in west-end swarming

OTTAWA — Police have charged two 19-year-old men after a west-end swarming last Friday night that left the victim with minor injuries. At around 9:50 p.m., two suspects on bicycles passed a male who was walking alone on a pathway near Woodroffe Avenue. The two cyclists returned and assaulted the male, escaping with the victim’s backpack and its contents. The victim suffered minor injuries from the assault.
