Ottawa brings in Lansdowne designer to help plan direction for Little Italy area

OTTAWA — The City of Ottawa will host a community design charette next week to come up with some planning and design direction for the Preston-Carling district, which is attracting strong developer interest. Toronto urban designer George Dark will lead the two-day workshop next Tuesday and Wednesday on the pending transformation of the Little Italy area.
