Attempted murder charges stayed after victim can’t be found

OTTAWA — Four men accused of trying to kill a rival by breaking into his home and stabbing him repeatedly won’t stand trial after police couldn’t find the victim to testify against them. Attempted murder and other charges against Ali Hamzeh, 20, Ahmad Hamzeh, 20, Salah Alenezi, 20 and Abdulaziz Al-Enzi, 24, were stayed at the request of a Crown prosecutor after the man they allegedly attacked, Rami Ghaith, couldn’t be located.
