Man critical in hospital after U of O collapse

Bystanders rushed to the aid of a 23-year-old man who collapsed in a building at the University of Ottawa Wednesday afternoon from a cardiac arrest that left him with life-threatening injuries. People who were nearby in Montpetit Hall quickly called 911 when they saw the condition of the man, who collapsed at around 2:26 p.m. while studying.
