Cars blow tires at site of repaired Highway 174 sinkhole

The ghost of the Highway 174 sinkhole appeared to take a bite out of a couple of cars Friday morning. Drivers of at least two cars reported blowing tires at a dip in the pavement left in the eastbound lanes after repairs were made to a massive sinkhole that opened at the Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard exit and swallowed a car on Sept. 4, Ottawa police said.
