Ex-Rider, commentator Kulka faces criminal charges

OTTAWA — Former Ottawa Rough Rider turned professional wrestler and sports radio host Glenn Kulka has been charged with assault and criminal harassment after an alleged settling of accounts in Ottawa’s east end. Kulka, a personal trainer and Ottawa sports personality known for mentoring youth, is alleged to have assaulted Henry Nguyen, who police say was left feeling so threatened he feared for his personal safety. The alleged assault happened on July 24 and Kulka is now on bail with conditions that prohibit him from talking to or going within 200 metres of Nguyen.
