OTTAWA — As a kid growing up in Nepean, Marc Clairoux was so violent that it surprised few who knew him that he was incarcerated for a brutal assault by the age of 12. By 18, he was serving time for robbery and at 22 he was back in prison on weapons and explosives charges. He has seen the insides of prisons from the old Bronson Detention Centre to Millhaven and Joyceville.
