Naqvi contemplates Ontario Liberal leadership bid

OTTAWA — Ottawa Centre MPP Yasir Naqvi said Tuesday he will talk to his wife about whether to run for the Ontario Liberal Party leadership. In the aftermath of Dalton McGuinty’s surprise announcement Monday that he will step down as premier, Ottawa dominoes have started to fall, from talk of who will take the premier’s seat in Ottawa South to whether the Liberals’ next leader might come from Ottawa.
