mbna 的5%就是个大忽悠

As a merchant, we have to pay in between 1.5-3% amount back to mastercard/visa/american express. So, I've talked to Moneris, and they said, its impossible for them to long term doing that. They require good credit to obtain, and most of those people pay their balance in full. They make money on when carrying balance and charge 19.99% p.a. So, they got to change the policy somehow.

好像不久前商家要push信用卡公司允许商家掐客户信用卡使用费（好像也包括银行卡但fee少些）以后只能用cash了

刚打电话给mbna才知道他们的5% 和3%的回扣就是大忽悠。



他们头6个月的5% 是有上限的，1400 points， 也就是说只有5%*300dollar , 之后都 是1%。过了6个月，只有400points的上限，之后是1%。



更气人的是，他们回扣要凑50dollar才给寄支票，不到50刀，剩下的point，下个月不能累加，全部清零了



我问他们，怎么不说清楚有上限，他们说网站上说的很清楚。我上网一查，什么也没讲，就打了特殊标志，但没注解。



那这个卡，还不如PC 呢。 PC 加油有2%



决定取消他了。

I just called MBNA custom service again. They said the reward ratio will be changed in Dec. and there will be new cap on each category.

1%-------- 1250 points
2%-------- 400 points ( only $200 dollars)
5%-------- 1600 points (only $325 first six months)

This custom service guy didn't know the new rule about any changes in Accumulation in reward points.

I am sorry to mislead you guys because I got the wrong information before.

每个客服都有不同说法。我上面不是说了，我又打电话了么。他们的人说不知道。但我现在看，可能第一个人跟我说的是你￥1250以上的钱，因为有cap,没算积分，下个月这部分可能就不累计了。

不过，我不确定啊，还得打电话问下
