OTTAWA — A witness at a friend’s second-degree murder trial admitted Thursday that he spat at the Crown attorney who met with him in jail about testifying. Carl St. Cyr agreed to testify at his friend Toby Land’s trial in the death of Dominic Doyon after he was approached by his former roommate’s defence lawyer.
