Police lay slew of charges in Pinecrest sex-attack on teen

OTTAWA — A 55-year-old man was charged late Friday night in the sexual assault Thursday of a young woman in her home in Ottawa’s Pinecrest neighbourhood. Ottawa police charged Marc Leduc with sexual assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, overcome resistance to offence/attempt to choke, break and enter, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, assault with a weapon, assault and breach of probation.
