Sculptor waxes nostalgic, taking care of city statues

Tamaya Garner and her late husband, sculptor Bruce Garner, looked after the fountain in Strathcona Park for nearly a decade. Together, twice a year, every year, they waxed the iconic iron fountain, hoping to undo the damage from a summer’s worth of constant water flow and protect it from the harsh winds of winter.
