It's possible that you don't need anything but a good cleaning and oiling. On my nailer , when it did that, I cured it by removing the spring loaded piston that is in the cap (the first part you remove when you open up the tool.) In my case, it was stuck (check by trying to depress it with your thumbs). I took off the deflector and used a blunt punch to tap out the piston. Then I removed the o-rings, cleaned up and replaced them, oiled them and reassembled. Mine works like new now.
