Up Beat: Kanata Youth Basketball is more than just hoops

For about the past 30 years KYBA has been running basketball programs to promote fitness, teamwork, fair play and fun. But that isn’t all that KYBA has done. For the last 19 years, the association has run a basketball tournament that has benefited charitable causes. The Chris Paulin Memorial Tournament (CPT) was named for a tireless volunteer of KYBA and has become one of the largest sanctioned basketball tournaments in Ontario. It is the first big Ontario Basketball Association tournament every season.
