Federal public servants’ charity campaign ponies up $21.4M

“Tonight we acknowledge the incredible generosity of federal employees and retirees serving our country and our communities,” deputy health minister Glenda Yeates told the crowd. In September, Yeates, who chaired the 2012 Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign, along with Governor-General David Johnson and hundreds of public servants, launched this year’s campaign with a goal of raising $21 million.
