Passed the G test recently at Trembley. What I can suggest is:
1. Find a instructor to familiarize yourself with the route. I think this is very important, especially if you are not familiar with the area. Traffic can be very heavy.
2. Other benefit of getting an instructor is that he/she will highlight the specific stuff that examiner will watch, e.g., check traffic left/right at light/stop, right of the road, etc. You may have some bad driving habits and it's important that you correct them during the test.
3. Relax yourself, it's not really very difficult. In my case, the examiner start a conversation with me after about 5 minutes when he realized that i'm a safe driver. From that moment on, I know I'm going to pass without a problem. He even reminded me that my speed is a bit over at certain point.
