The wave of one-day walkouts by striking public elementary school teachers rolled across the Ottawa Valley on Thursday. About 700 members of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) picketed outside schools and the Renfrew County District School Board office in Pembroke to protest the provincial government’s Bill 115.
