Officer cleared after female prisoner’s finger crushed in Rockland OPP cells

OTTAWA — Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit has cleared a Rockland OPP officer of wrong doing after a woman had her finger crushed by a cell door in November. The SIU found that on Nov. 15, a 30-year-old woman was taken to the Rockland detachment after she was arrested for breaching court conditions to avoid drinking alcohol.
