trunk 关不上 求助！

没别的意思啊，也不是喷你，以下的话只是我个人经历：

我的08 Accord Coupe原配电池前3年冬天boost了4次，其中，新车时的头半年2次，都是-20度左右的天气。很多朋友也发现Honda的电池sucks。

Thanks for this information. Did Honda change your battery FREE?

My family (two sister-in-law families and myself) never owned Honda cars, we are Toyota fan (brand loyalty). And we have bought five brand new Toyota cars since 1993, and we never encountered any battery problem for eight years. Maybe those who plan to buy Honda car should ask dealer add this to the warranty, battery is warranted for seven years.

By the way, there is no perfect car, except one which is good enough for your own need (hence there is something called BRAND loyalty).

Since your car is two years old, you don't need to change battery.
After boosting you car, drive 80 km to fully charge your battery.
(Japanese) car battery is good for at least seven years.
If you buy Toyota Prius, the battery comes with 7 year warranty.
You can ask your dealer whether changing battery is covered by car warranty (five years and 100000 km, whichever comes first). I think it should!.
Please note that Service manager of any dealer has commission from car service, that probably is the reason why your car dealer Service manager asked you to change battery. He probably won't give the changed battery to you..., don't let him fool you, you can ask them for that changed battery back, I guarantee that battery is not dead. You can write a letter to Honda complaining that service manager.

过了大概一个小时 回复： “我们garage 有64个换下来的电池 无法给你一个一个测试 所以可以理解为 NO 旧的没了":flaming:

I recommend you write a letter to Honda.ca, complaining why their battery is that BAD! You ask them why your two years old car battery is dead. It does no harm to give it a try. If you send it through email, you can cc say wheel.ca (any columnist you think appropriate).

You can also visit Wheel.ca, or if you have access to Saturday Toronto Star (say library, or at work), look at their Wheels Section, you can find people sending letters on many issues. There are cases that they contact the right party, (Honda.ca, or dealer....).

I called Honda customer relation number; complained that it was the open trunk and light drained the battery; this may caused dead cell; Honda agreed this possibility; will send me 50 CAD coupon that can be used for further services...

再更新的问题： 有朋友说有这样耗光一次之后 电池的性能会下降很多很多很多 比如即使充满也是浮电。。。

感觉性能肯定会受影响 但是会下降很多很多很多。。。么？有点confuse 到底有多多 呵呵

Just to add one thing, if you go to Costco, Canadian Tire looking for car batteries, you have the choice of 5 years or 7 years warranty. You can call Honda again about how long is their car battery warranty.
Do remember to ask them for a case number, or their employee number, for future reference.
