Zip line proposed for Sparks Street Mall

Imagine gliding through the air above Sparks Street with a six-storey high aerial view of the pedestrian mall below. A zip line could be installed as early as May in a push to “bring more entertainment, more traffic and more excitement,” to the downtown strip after 4 p.m., according to the executive director of the business improvement area.
