Ottawa gets $47M to build and renovate public schools

OTTAWA — Ottawa’s public school board has received $47.9 million from the provincial government to build a new elementary school in Kanata and renovate four other schools. The money will help the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board build permanent additions at Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School in Barrhaven and Earl of March Secondary School in Kanata.
