看见school zone sign 到底要不要减速啊？

school zone sign上写着速度呢，照着开就是了。
"记得考官跟我说我看见School sign没有减速，其实我当时明明是减速了"
Remember, that is quite personal (feeling), you think you have but you are NOT the examiner!!! Why argue.
Example, you have to make a FULL Stop at (and behind) any STOP Sign. Back in 1992, driving instructor of my wife told my wife she has to count 1001, 1002 and then 1003 (THREE seconds) and before she can go, this makes sure examiner agrees that you have STOPPED and checked road conditions (for at least three seconds). That guy now is driving examiner in Toronto for more than ten years.
You have to make SHOULDER check before you change lane, you have to make SURE your examiner knows you have made shoulder check.
As for your driving instructor, "教练说school zone sign那里又没有人，你为什么要减速", I am speechless.
"school zone 减速" is DEFENSIVE driving!
If we follow what your "教练 ,,, 那里又没有人/Car", why make a FULL Stop at STOP Sign (if 那里又没有人/Car)?!
I recommend LZ take car insurance class, ...
