Girl, 12, in critical condition after collapsing at school

Ottawa paramedics are praising the quick response of staff at St. Gregory Catholic School for helping save a young student’s life on Tuesday. Staff at the school at 148 Meadowlands Dr. E. saw the 12-year-old girl collapse as she was walking in the hall just after 9 a.m. They immediately began CPR, which they continued until firefighters and paramedics arrived and took over.
