Community groups can now apply for funding to hire experts to study Taggart Miller’s plans for a potential new private landfill and recycling centre on the city’s east side. The city issued a call for applications following Taggart Miller’s announcement last week that a site near Boundary Road and Highway 417 was preferred over another potential location a few kilometres away in Russell Township.
