Community organization director hopes for maximum sentence in manslaughter case

The executive director of the Brockville and Area Community Living Association says he hopes that Jerry Hawley spends as long as possible in jail to discourage others whose negligence might ultimately result of the death of people in their care. Hawley was found guilty of manslaughter last week in the May 26, 2008, death of his mentally impaired 41-year-old brother, Jamie Hawley.
