City’s planners back 18-storey condo by Glebe Collegiate, despite neighbours’ opposit

A condo tower proposed for the corner of Bronson and Carling avenues has had six storeys cut off it, but that’s not enough to get the local councillor’s approval. At 24 storeys, says Councillor David Chernushenko, the Taggart proposal for property just northwest of Glebe Collegiate was too tall and too dense and would put too many cars on the neighbourhood’s narrow streets. At 18 storeys, it’s not much better.
