请问。。我这种offer是怎么回事？。。求助

我收到ou的录取通知书，但是上面讲。。。我需要先修12周的英文，然后通过什么叫做cantest的大学内的考试才可以修正式课程。。
这个考试难不难？我托福成绩是223,作文4分，为什么还要修语言？
我可以算是正式的学生吗？
如果我再1个月内再考一次，如果能达到250，成绩单交到学校，我可以免去语言课程吗？

求各位哥哥姐姐弟弟妹妹们帮忙^_^...........

你申请的什么专业？看你的年龄，应该是本科吧？
我知道通常情况下，在school of management，如果你toefl的作文<4.5，需要选修一门ESL的课程，与此同时也可以上专业的课程。如果你的作文>4.0则不用。
你今年秋季入学，不知道是否有了新的政策。

那个考试难不难？。。。。

accounting也是school of management的一个专业
至于是否可以，你可以跟系里商量，看他们的意思。
没什么人考过，不知道难易程度

可以。
作文要是达不到要求要TAKE ESL2121和ESL2361。

我同学在考CAN TEST，听说比较难。

if you can make it to 580 and 4.5 in writing, then you don't need to take can-test. can-test in similar to toefl, listen, writing, and reading. most people say cantest is harder than toefl.

yes, it is much harder.... for all the Chinese students, the God damn TOEFL probably is the easiest way to go through.Nightmare...

I take both cantest and toefl , to be frankly, I think cantest is easier than toefl. For me, I didn't send my toefl score to OU, because my cantest score is enough.

I agree w/h ya. But I have no idea about the CANTEST though.

还是考托福.毕竟有复习材料.我们也比较熟悉.其他考试真不知道怎么去准备.我就不知道怎么复习雅思.

If you wanna take IELTS, you should be good at language abilities instead of test skills...I am good in oral&listening English, so my IELTS score is better than TOEFL by level. But to most of Chinese students, TOEFL is much easier in terms of test skills...550 is the meat right beside the month...Hope you go through it...
